2000 s-80 2.9 AC problem

I recently purchased this car and have a recurring problem with my AC. When I start the car and for a period of time it blows nice and cold. At random times though, it will start to warm up until it is blowing hot. I turn it off for a few minutes and turn it back on, it is cold again. Some minutes later, it goes warm again. Any ideas where to begin on this?

Welcome to MVS. I moved this thread to the S80 section...
A number of things could be happening w/ your A/C. You need to read or have read your A/C pressure...if it is low this could happen. If it previously had a leak and absorbed moisture this could happen....it gets cold and the water in the system freezes, blocking the cold air flow and when it thaws it works again....anyway, get it checked out. Others may have better opinions than me. I hardly know the S80 personally.
