Do you mean I should connect OBDII pin 4 and 5 to the Teensy GND?

The other schematic is basically the same as my "breadboard" version, that had the same result basically, found the first two bytes consistent but did not crack the code.

I can do live testing again after snowboarding next week ;-)

CEM partnumber is: 30765015

So to summarize my project.

Denso->Bosch. I will need the engine wiring harness and Bosch ECM. After that, a CEM re-flash of ROM and EEPROM OR a CEM from a donor 2.4T car, after which IMMO matching and then the modules will all fetch the signal configurations from the CEM? The question then remains of the other modules which spoke with the ECM and so forth.

I have compared the data from VIDA and a B5244T3 ECM differs from a B5244T5 ECM. Well the reasons are obvious, no dual VVt and more. So I basically have to focus on 2005+ S60s as donors, but then the head I have is Dual VVt so it needs be an ECM and engine code which works for me, so 2.5t. Then the question remains for the ETM, if now I also need a Bosch unit as I have a Magnetti Marelli which works.
I buy one part - sell one old, this will make the swap very cheap.

Should be far less money than that. I expect in Germany and USA to be expensive, but not in my country. Plus I still have something to sell from the car. Well it's still in planning phases. I will re-evaluate more.

Nah, in US you pay $80 to private individual for his rear-ended or t-boned car, which is perfectly fine otherwise, and tow it with your truck.

Not what you get here. But at least the prices are somewhat bearable. We have a saying here. When you buy a car, you actually pay for it twice. And some, thrice.
It's true to this day.

Just an easy question, what is the MY of your car (10th digit of your VIN YV1...) ?
