Where or what is the forward drum in a 07 S80 transmission?

Good morning, I'm looking at purchasing a high mileage 2007 S80 that has been well taken care of but the PO is stating that the forward drum is bad and I for the life of me cannot find any information online about this condition. It makes me think that this is a misdiagnose's and that something else must be wrong with the transmission. I haven't driven the vehicle because the car is actually being sold AS IS at a charity auction so it's buyer beware. If this forward drum is really an issue would someone let me know?

well, the auction was this morning and I chose not to buy the vehicle.
