A woman I worked with for years and her wife spent time in the Sultanate of Oman, and bought one of these when they arrived. They soon discovered why it was common to see all manner of Porsches, Ferraris, Maseratis &c. abandoned on the side of the road. Nobody there could fix them.

Nice looking car. Think I'll pass.

Darn, link updated to redirect to home page... AKA listing nuked.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Though you added enough on your post to give a good idea of the car, Foggy.

So, thinking hypothetically, is it worth 8k, fix suspension bushings and calipers etc, LS Chevy swap it, and then build an all-new wiring harness for the whole car? I don’t know that the Ferrari engine was the problem, but maybe engine management and computers and sensors everywhere and too many power luxury things??

This is all above my pay grade.

Once the listing goes over the block it is moved off the public platform; the only reason I can see the result is because I made a bookmark bid - early enough I knew it wouldn't accidentally land in my lap. The only way to know it made reserve is to see if it shows back up in inventory.

An Alfa Romeo 105 upper oil ban with cast-in baffles. Holds 7 qts. All aluminum, bottom is finned for cooling. Nick-named the batwing.

Under the heading "What are the odds?"

Three BMW's in the same scene, within inches of each other, two destroyed plus a highway patrol car, and the Patrolman somehow lives through it with his hand actually touching one of the out of control cars.

One BMW getting a ticket.
One BMW flying across a freeway out of control.
One BMW randomly passing by and missed by inches.

This guy is lucky as hell. I don't know that he had time to dive over the railing. The out of control kid should lose his license.
