On an 2004 check that CEM is dry. Usually it’s the BCM on p2 chassis. Read codes to confirm.

BbA is no longer in business last I checked

- I understand this is mostly anti-lick features.
- Car brake work fine on dry road. Have not tested hard braking on wet road yet.

Coming from 1998 V70, we just sent the ABS module to be resoldered, cost was $80 years ago...

Could someone give me an update on this?

- The root causes of this? Is it broken solder joints?
- Any soldering trick, has anyone tried this?
- What does Xemodex (In Toronto) do, is it mostly resoldering?

- Any company in the US? Is BBA-Reman still around?
Usually this https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... e-30742306 or this https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... vo-8622064 Can replace both - my failed at around same mileage.

Thanks for the replies,

I thought this is usually from the BCM and not the sensors as mentioned by vtl?

It is 99% sensors. On 3 P2s I've had, I replaced 3 of those on brake booster and 2 on brake pedal.

Read the codes with DiCE/VIDA, we can compare with what I had.

Thanks!

The 2004 V70 is far away from home (college).
Will try with VIDA when I have the opportunity.
