I look for good drip trim rubber every time I go to the PNP’s. I have not seen one piece since I got you that set last year Erik.erikv11 wrote: ↑18 May 2023, 22:21 On a P80 the side windshield trim is well documented and discussed. That's a metal-backed piece, different animal, routine to remove/install but no new replacements available of any kind AFAIK. Junkyard only. Without rails one piece runs from the windshield corner all the way to the tail gate, with rails it is a different, shorter part that stops at the rail foot. Or you can cut the long ones to size.
On a P2 the rubber piece that you can pull out is short, it runs just past the top of the windshield: IMG_2520D.JPG

I learned a thing. The Skandix replacement is a complete metal trim with the rubber. It's aluminum STAINLESS STEEL so it won't corrode, and comes with black coating. So on a non-black car I'm not sure how that looks.

Well I've ordered a bin of bits and rubber and trim from ipd, from FCP, and from Volvo Parts Webstore. I'm undecided about the Skandix windshield jamb pieces. The are really not part of a windshield installation, just trim that pops off (I ordered all the plastic clips behind there). Junkyard finds like DonnVa's seem less likely as time goes by.
An interesting aside - FCP gave me free shipping on a $53 order - nice. Volvo Parts Webstore (which is a dealer somewhere) charged me $35 (!) freight on a $66 order - wow...its a box of tiny bits and a strip of rubber. That seems outrageous unless you must have that dealer part with no other options. But then told me I saved $12 over dealer prices.

I sometimes go with Tasca. They bill me for shipping, which often nullifies difference with the premium FCP charges, but they don't keep everything in stock and can order it for you. FCP sells only what it lists.
