I haven't gotten to this as late but it's getting colder sooo, I found some aluminum pipes. I ordered the orings and clip set, Will they fit for the hoses that go into the coupler side of the firewall on the engine side? They are the yellow clips. Thanks the aluminum pipes were on line used, I didn't bother, and stayed with my iron.....

I went ahead and replaced the coupler,and heater core, I want to say never the samh#)& again!!! oh my God, but cause I'd already had the new coupler I stayed with the iron pipes, yep a leak at the core and pipes, the orings are too big, any tips other than I screwed up and didn't go with aluminum pipes This project is unreal,....it's a tough job!

Oh my was I cussing, I bent a few fins, I thought the coupler was going to be hard, but now I have to manuver the core all again, hopefully second time around will be easier, any tips????,Thanks...
