Advantage of steel rebar the temperature expansion of steel is nearly the same as concrete. In a floor rust should not be an issue. Fiber glass strand reinforcement (not fiberglass bar) is not as good. Steel rebar is better than mesh.

Lugnut is correct. There is also epoxy coated rebar for big commercial projects, bridges, etc. Usually green.
When the bar rusts and spalls inside the concrete from water getting in there - like the Miami tower that collapsed - it expands and splits the concrete, gets worse and worse, then the whole assembly fails.

A life time ago I was young, dumb kid on a small construction crew. Our aluminum bull float would often get thrown in the back of the truck and other things thrown on top. When it got bent, the boss man got bent too.

Almost done with the 2002 S60, wheel bearing today and checking the power steering fluid after changing the reservoir and hose. Now just serpentine belt and SRS controller to go.

Got an oil change done for the first time on a P2 Volvo. Easier than expected. Put in some Pennzoil ultra platinum that i got on sale. Car drives great.
Last things on the list are:
-Transmission fluid flush (did 1x drain and fill already, will use radiator pipe method)
-Front right wheel bearing
-Fuel Filter (Maybe, its won 2 rounds, time to call in the heavies)

stripped the interior from the 5th door to the back seat. prepping to hunt all those electrical gremlins.
pulled the CEM and the REM.. they look good, i think?
while battery was hooked up, hazards would randomly kick on, just the lights on the car, not the interior hazard indicator, though that does work also. and door locks would kick every once in a while. didn't time it out, may do tomorrow.
