My buddy recently swapped his backrest cover on his 850 for one from a passenger side. Only real issue is the lumber support knob that comes out the opposite side, so you have to make one on the other side and have a hole on the other one. If you are really particular, you might be able to get an upholsterer to either patch it or swap it over from the original seat cover.

I did nothing to my Volvo today, I just drive it. It runs really well at the moment, engine is silky smooth, new tires improved the ride a lot.

But I do have an issue with the windshield washers. They come on delayed, I replaced the small 3way valve under the hood, but it still feels delayed. I took the old valve apart and there was a piece of "something" stuck in it, after removal it seems to work again. There should be a filter in the line somewhere right? Maybe I need to clean the system

I still have spare material in charcoal or beige to cover that hole, for a postage stamp

Blew the repaired fuel hose off the junction from the fuel filter...again....

Thanked Kat for taking me 140 miles to Manhattan and back , then failing hose 1/4 mile from garage. Walked home, got P2, got bagels, put in toaster, went back and hard-towed Kat back home

Roughed up NiCopp line, JB weld, and double FI clamped it this time like others. tight access. Used old radiator hose to chafe relief the clamps on the fuel filler neck.

Someone had a thread here where they swapped right to left seat covers. They cut a piece off the bad seat cover and stitched or glued it inside under the lumbar hole. Looked much better than a beat up seat cover.

Did it fail both times 1/4 mile from your house after drives to Manhattan? That's a lot of karma you have banked up.

Wish I could get good bagels here. All we have are stale Bimbo Bakery things that are called bagels.

A REALLY good bagel place opened probably 6 months ago 5 minutes down the road from me. Fortunately we have a lot of NY transplants down here who know how to make bagels and pizza.
Not combined, of course!

I have a strange windshield wiper issue too. When I flick the wiper switch forward to rinse, it stays on until I pull the fuse. The first time this happened, the reservoir emptied itself before I could figure out that pulling the fuse was the only way to stop it.
