2001 V40 P0455 code loose hose

So I'm tracking down an engine code P0455 and noticed a loose hose in the engine bay and wondered if it was supposed to be this way. If anyone has noticed this on their own car or has a few minutes to check theirs, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here's a few photos showing the hose in question. In the 2nd close up photo, where it connects is where the hose has some play. I can pull it up slightly and see the metal inside.

did you find out what wrong? i have the same issue and engine code wont go away. already replaced the gas cap, no fuel smell and hoses look ok.
