I have a problem with my 02 plate V70 estate, I've had it 3 months, and the dash board lights were a bit funny when I got it, I now have a problem in that I have no dash bord lights at all, no rev counter, no speedo, no fuel or temp guage,no on board computer. its all dead, any one got any ideas what the problem might be. At first they would come on after the car had been running for 5 minutes, but now its completely dead. Please help anyone.
Car has 145000 miles on clock.

I'm moving this to the 01- present V70 section. Hopefully you'll get more help over there.

The DIM module is broke!
That means you need a new dash cluster. I would have Volvo look at it first as it may be simple as a crimped wire or a blown fuse for some reason
Not cheap, about a $1500 retail part, the install is easy, about 45 minutes
Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP
