1996 850 Parts for Sale

My 1996 Volvo has a EVAP leak, leaks oil, doesn’t have a working AC and needs new wires for the alternator

Body wise there’s so many parts that could be useful (headlights, inside buttons, etc).

Do any of you need parts from it?

I thought about selling some on eBay but I figured I’d sell here first (and for less since I don’t pay any fees) since this community has helped me so much!

My dad and brother are both Volvo mechanics so they would be the ones disconnecting the tougher parts.

Why not just fix it? I can guarantee that most people’s cars on here (including mine) have more issues than that

Assuming your location is your Zip Code, You are not far from Abscate our moderator and multi-Volvo owner. Now if it is Dark Blue then you might find a new owner, just saying.............!

I'm surprised if you have relatives that are Volvo mechanics, most of this could be fixed in a couple of days. Nothing there should condemn a car as stated above.

There is an interloper in the 2nd row at the back. Is that the VW Golf? And there is a missing VW T4. Has it made it down from Albany yet?

Still keeping the t4 upstate , and the Golf is hiding around front of the house

We do have four drivers and I might put a Volvo on the other side of the sound

Car on ferry, $120 round trip, reservations and often full on short notice

Round trip walk on plus month parking in Bridgeport, $84

Plus one with the good Doctor, pictures and more info on the model and trim might gain some traction here. You should indicate if you are willing to ship.

Thanks for that pic Abscate. My wife just looked over my shoulder and said "someone has as many Volvos as we do?"

I also don't see the OP's list of issues as enough to send an 850 down the road. Exception would be if the interior is trash.

Edit: I always have 850 parts I don't need, just ask.

That's not even bad from the sound of it. I've got one with most of the interior missing and a Christmas tree dash. The other doesn't even have a working engine.
