Hi,

Oh, that's interesting. Wonder what the reason is.
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

Manuals are splash lubricated so car motion keeps the gears and diff lubed

automatics are. Pressure lubricated by the running engine. You can buy a pressure lubricator for flat towing, people who tow cars with RVs do this

If you're going to use the car trailer, the harbor freight ratcheting cable puller is going to need an extension or two, bring some extra chain, tow straps, ratchet straps etc, and a couple of big guys if the car isn't running. Plenty of friendly folks in North Jersey lended a hand, but your mileage may vary.

I'm surprised a Nautic Blue P80 left abandoned did not end up on Abscate's driveway while your back was turned!

If going a different route, DO NOT try to tow with only one set of wheels on the ground. Everything needs to be off the ground on a full trailer with the AWD system
Hi,

I guess with just FWD only the front wheels have to be off the ground? 1998 v70 non-turbo

I hate those ratcheting come alongs with a passion. Too much work for a couple of inches at a time

For $30 you can get a 1000 pound rated boat trailer winch from Harbor Fright that will smooth pull up your load via cranking and not that dumb donkey back and forth

The come-along has a lot more force but that isn’t needed for trailer loading
