V40 Diesel 1.9 2004 Loosing Brake /Clutch Fluid -

Post by kevinpj »

Hi , I'm loosing brake/clutch fliud. visible fluid on pipe connecting resovoir and car bulkhead. When fluid is low I am getting a knock from clutch and rear driver side brakes. Is this just loss of pressure? can anyone suggest an independent volvo dealer in Dublin, Ireland? thanks Kevin

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

If your fluid is going down that quickly you need to get this fixed ASAP. You could lose your brakes.

I don't think you will find an independent Volvo dealer anywhere but you will find plenty of independent garages/mechanics who will work on Volvos. Check with your family/friends on who does their servicing and repairs. The brake and clutch systems on these cars are not unique to Volvo so any competent mechanic can do it.
