Hello all,
I replaced all 4 door lock actuator motors a month ago, and it went great... until yesterday when my son was opening the back door at the same time I was unlocking it. I heard clunk and now it won't unlock. It locks fine, but won't unlock. This time its not the motor, that's still functioning fine. I can see the motor move the lever, but it's not catching the lock knob. I'm assuming something broke, but I don't think I can get back into the case as I glued the $hit out of it...
SO, unless you guys know of an obvious fix I'm not thinking about, I'm going to need a replacement left rear lock mechanism. Does anyone have one they can part with?
Thanks in advance.

Probably! If you can't get one locally or from the guys there in the US then let me know.

To circle back on this, I can confirm that the "red tab" has failed. I didn't even realize that was a thing, I assumed it was all motor related, but there are two failure points:
Electrical - Thermal fuse on original motor goes bad and must be bypassed, or motor is replaced. This is fixable for about $10-$15 for a new motor (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805015321830.html), or rebuild your own and bypass the fuse for free.
Mechanical - The "Red Pin" breaks off and will not allow the levers to engage the lock. This is catastrophic and requires a new actuator. Would be nice if the broken part could be scanned/printed, but that is beyond my capabilities.

Yes it would be good if some of these smaller plastic parts could be made. The RR actuator is no longer available from Volvo so used is the only option going forward.
