My wife's XC 60 has very poor sound quality when playing something through the bluetooth to the radio. The sound is good when listening to FM radio or music on CD's, just podcasts and music from iPhone to radio through bluetooth sound like the speakers are blown, lots of noise, etc.
Does anyone else have a similar experience with or have a problem with the sound quality?

Try this (I'm serious): move the bluetooth device (i.e., iPhone, etc.) to the left air vent next to the side window. I had this issue while using the phone/bluetooth with the phone in a CD player based bracket (center console). Now I just put the phone in the driver's door pocket. My guess is the bluetooth antennae/receiver is off to the left somewhere? No idea, but it should have been a TSB, seems no one knows the cure but the issue is widespread.

Thanks and sorry for the late reply, I've surmised that it is the left door tweeter, I think the speaker is blown. I'm going to pull the door panel and have a look at it tomorrow and see whats going on.
