Is this new designed PCV Banjo Bolt a must replacement per video? My PCV system is working fine but don't know if PO had this replaced already.

I think it is relatively unlikely that it fails, but if it does it wreaks havoc. I'll probably replace it when I do my PCV system. I read somewhere that there are two banjo bolts, but I'm not sure if that is correct.

There was one banjo bolt version that sometimes had a problem with retaining the integrated check valve in the bolt and if it escaped it gets sucked into the engine, not good. The later revision has a better pin retaining design, it's this one...

If the head of the bolt is stamped with 2014 it's the better design and I've read there are banjo bolts with a later year stamp on them.
My 2001 didn't even have a check valve in it so I updated it with the later version bolt.
There's also a banjo bolt for the coolant flow on the other end of the main PCV hose assembly, I don't know the part number but this bolt has a larger opening for water flow and no valve, I don't know if it even fits on the intake manifold side but I don't think it would be a good idea to use this bolt on the intake manifold.

I'm replacing a PCV system on a 2002 Volvo T5.
My car has currently the PCV banjo bolt style without any check valve.
Does anyone know if there's any benefit in fitting the new style PCV banjo bolt with a check valve?

Yes. Turbo engine does not have vacuum in intake manifold under boost. Check valve restricts pressure from entering the PCV system, which helps tremendously the other half of PCV, which already struggles to draw sufficient vacuum via the long heated pipe going around the block to turbo's intake.
