95 Volvo 850GLT, orange service lite..whats it mean??

I have 76,800 miles on the car. and the orange service light on the bottom right of the driver dash came on...all the manual says is bring it to Volvo for service to reset...any ideas what it could mean????

Don't mind this light, it comes on at set intervals. Depending on what year it is you might be able to reset it youreslf. If it's a late model volvo then only the dealer can reset it. However, just use it to see if you need and fluids changed, tire rotations, etc. Otherwise don't worry about it. The only light to be concerned about is the check engine light. That light actually means something is wrong with the car and will refer to a code.

So in short, don't worry about the light.
