Well, my Volvo OE part arrived today. And boy am I glad I waited as the quantity of grease in the GKN Lobro was only about half that supplied by Volvo in their kit!!

If you look at the 2 packs, they are actually different. One has 65gms and the other 85 gms for a total of 150 gms. GKN kit has one pack at 80 gms!!

This kit will now go on the shelf and the previously fitted new GKN part will stay in place and get filled with a 2nd GKN grease pack I already have. I will also add a 2nd one to the other GKN kit I have so I don't forget.

So, I would suggest that if you buy the GKN Lobro inner boot kit, buy a 2nd pack of grease which is 80 gms and add that when fitting.

I am wondering, as this kit was originally listed for a Volkswagen of some sort, and maybe it only needs one pack of grease. The original kit GKN sold was discontinued and then this one someone found physically fitted so seems to have become the 'new' option. The GKN part # for this kit is: 303946 for the inner CV boot on a P80 and early P2.

So hopefully this is of help to others!
