Replacing oil pressure switch

Hello- new owner of an old xc70. Having what seems a common problem of low oil pressure warning. My first step is check the pressure and my question is what is the best method for getting at the switch? Looks like intake needs to come off but any hacks that avoid this would be most appreciated. I’d like to avoid having to remove the intake, hook up the pressure gauge, reinstall intake, etc. thanks
