Any suggestions for the correct hose type here? I'm not sure what kind of hose material should be used here to deal with whatever temperatures/chemicals would be present.
I recently acquired another V70R, which seems to have been maintained by a perhaps less-than-optimal DIYer.
I noticed positive pressure in the crankcase so went to the PCV system as the first culprit.
The hose which should connect to the intake manifold banjo bolt is missing and was plugged.
I've checked the other components of the PCV system and there are no blockages in the hoses or at the bottom of the crankcase where the PCV box mounts - so I'm currently thinking the only (main) reason I'm getting positive pressure is because of this truncated and blocked line.
Any suggestions?
Thanks again
