Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
1998 V70, no dash lights on
1997 850 T5 [gone] w/ MSD ignition coil, Hallman manual boost controller, injectors, R bumper, OMP strut brace

What ECU is currently in the car? M4.3 or M4.4?
There shouldn't be any reason to need anything other than the -607 bin you flashed already.

M4.3 and runs great.
It's currently too cold outside to work on my car
Any help is appreciated if anyone can read what's wrong with the TCV duty cycle from the datalog from my previous post.

Put the M4.4 and new TCV in the car (when you can) and report back.

Hi!Chuck W wrote: ↑28 Sep 2023, 06:28 My stuff wouldn't be very useful to you.
As I mentioned, I'm running a WBO2 Modulation bin, so I don't have a VE map. It's an AFR Target map.
Also, my turbo control parameters probably aren't spicy enough for you. I'm only at about 12-13 psi. Mainly because I haven't had the time to really mess around with it, and the car is running great.
Dear Chuck, can you please send me BIN files for m4.4 from S/V/C70 with a mechanical throttle?
Maybe there were earlier discussions about the firmware for these cars that I missed.
Or maybe you had a tuned firmware for the 850 and the 15G turbine with automatic transmission.
Also, maybe you have a checksum file for S/V/C70 with a mechanical throttle for the TunerPro?

I have all of the files that were originally available on the M4.4 Wiki site (and stuff from the big VS thread on the M4.4 conversions), as well as the basic stuff for M4.3 tuning.
I ran my 854 on the basic M4.4 -607(VS) bin with the 15G, etc for a while until I did the manual swap/COP/etc.
Send me your email in the PM and I can send you all of that stuff to get you started with TunerPro.

Dear forum members,
do any of you have any thoughts about setting up the turbo table - TC Duty Cycle Pilot Control and Target Load Setpoint.
I can't understand the relationship between these two tables. TC Duty Cycle Pilot Control table has the same values, but the values in Target Load Setpoint table are different. At the same RPM and throttle opening angle.
How to set up a TC Duty Cycle Pilot Control for large values, while setting up the table Target Load Setpoint correctly

As mentioned, the Target Load Setpoint is the desired engine loading (which is not boost pressure) and the TC Duty Cycle is how much/quickly the ECU allows the system to work to get to that point. Lower duty cycle values = slower response/build. (The TCV is basically a modulated bleed orifice to control boost signal to the WGA)
Read the M4.4 Wiki pages to get an understanding. Adjusting the boost control is also discussed there, on a basic and an advanced level.
An accurate boost gauge (and/or MAP sensor for data logging), along with a WBO2 sensor are key to avoiding engine damage and to actually see what you're doing.
Here is a quick explanation of what engine loading is, from the Motronic M4.4 PDF
