Hello!
I have a question about the clutch for 850 T-5 2.0. During disassembly, my mechanic and I found that the new clutch ordered (by VIN of course) (from LUK) has a different clutch disc in comparison with old disc. Is this a purely cosmetic issue or will there be a problem in functionality? The new clutch disc is visibly smaller in circumference...
(The reason we took it apart in the first place was to replace the bearing, the clutch itself would still last a while, the car has approx 100k miles).
Thanks!

I think the R clutch is bigger in size.
At least it can hold more torque.
My guess is that - if the one you got is correct - a previous owner put in an R clutch that you are replacing with a stock clutch which will still be fine for a stock 2.0 T5. If you exceed 300 hp and 430 Nm, swarm knowledge says you need an R clutch or a full race clutch.
