Although shipping to the US is pricey, I think I may have a spare if you are stuck. I will check the part number when I get the chance. There are also a couple of V70 XC's (99, 00) as well as a 00 S70 in the local yards as of Thursday.

scot850 - Thank you for the offer. I’m going back to the wrecking yard next week. The local yard is huge and they don’t have a clue what’s there. This week I found a pristine (looking) 98 S70 that looks better than the one I’m trying to restore. Unfortunately it has the ME4.4 so the accelerator is different. If I don't locate one I’ll send you a PM

Actual throttle position sounds like the ETM. Has it been replaced at some point?

I did replace it with a wrecking yard unit. It passed the “8 second buzz, click test”. The original one illuminated the ETM light.

Again I have a bunch of those LPT units including a Xemodex unit I pulled a couple of days ago.

Hopefully the peddle from levalexi will work. Good Luck!

How much do you want for the Xemodex ETM? It might be worthwhile to pay international shipping on that.

This is what I get on my scanner:
Accelerator Pedal (AP) analog input 8 %
Accelerator Pedal (AP) Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) input 8 %
Accelerator Pedal (AP) Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) (via ETM) 8 %
Throttle angle (from ETM) 20%

Thank you for the data.
I graphed the Actual Throttle Position. It reads 20% with the engine off and key in position II. On starting and driving it varies roughly from 8 to 35% or so. Then, it freezes. Usually around 3x%. Turn the key off and restart, it reads 0.

I’m assuming the Actual Throttle Position is the ETM. Why it freezes, I don't know yet.

It’s my understanding a used ETM can be substituted as long as it’s like aspiration; turbo/turbo or NA/NA. Maybe that’s not always the case. Or perhaps I got a bad one.
