i have 2006 Ocean Race XC90 that just recently had the radiator replaced . Now the coolant fan stays on and temp gauge is inop . Both will work properly if I start the vehicle and its under 32 degrees Fahrenheit . However once I get to my location and turn the vehicle of and back on the coolant fan starts running and the temperature gauge stops working again. The A/C also stopped working after the radiator replacement . I checked refrigerant and it is full .
Any Ideas?

I think the temperature gauge issue could be caused by a faulty coolant temperature sensor. This sensor is responsible for sending temperature readings to the gauge on the dashboard. If it's malfunctioning, it may not provide accurate readings or may not work at all. Replacing the coolant temperature sensor could potentially resolve this issue.

Since this just started happening when you had the radiator replaced, it seems likely that something was reassembled incorrectly. Perhaps a temp sensor not plugged in, or needs to be re-seated, or something like that. (I'd have to check to see if "fan on" is a fail-safe if the temp sensor fails. Seems plausible, but it's a guess.)
Any codes or CEL?
