Here are a couple pictures taken today of the black trim:

Though not a permanent solution to the fading and discoloured trim problem, I remain very satisfied with this product in comparison to all the other products I've used. I would describe the conditions and weather that I drive in as severe with lots of snow, road salt, gravel, dust, etc and extremes of temperature both winter and summer necessitating frequent car washes. Also this car is kept outside year round. I will reapply a fresh coat of product today but would highly recommend this product and suggest that for most, annual reapplication wouldn't be necessary.

This seems good.
Man, I went to the Amazon link and there are dozens of these out there all claiming the same thing.

After a couple tries, I decided I did not care enough to keep applying anything to make the trim black. Call it patina, and leave it be. The peeling clearcoat completes the well used look.
