Now that I have the car running again, I thought I'd try rebuilding the old starter.
When I was looking around the other day I found this guy rebuilding a Bosch starter. Looks simple enough if you can locate the parts.
Anyone know the part numbers and where to buy them?

Be aware, I was talking to an old school repair guy who is repairing an alternator for me. He said the hardest part is finding good quality parts these days, even for rebuilders. Most are poor quality and that is what he says took out the rebuilt Bosch starter (actually it was rebuilt by Bosch but is actually a Denso unit). When he opened the brush cover a bunch of crumbs fell out.
I wish you luck!
Neil.
