Love the color/ Nearly bought one 25 years ago but found they were prone to rotten rear parcel shelves, even when the car itself looked solid everywhere else. Bought a Porsche 928 S4 instead. It actually rode better than the Merc and way better the a BMW M5.

Bingo. 560 SEC. It's my neighbor's, and the photos are from a week or so ago when I was driving down our alley. I think he's had it since new. I don't know the year. Unfortunately no. I owned that in the old country before moving to Canada. If it had been LHD I would have brought it here, but as it was RHD I had to sell it. Funnily, my wife probably drove it more than me! Mind you I had the 250bhp 98 V70 T5...........!

Hemmings web site says SEC was built 1881 to 1991. The US spec 560 made 238 HP. Euro spec got up to 300 ponys.
