No Spark with new components

Post by gizmaster_1 »

Hi all,

2 months ago my -95 850 Turbo failed to start. I checked for fuel and spark and found i had no spark I replaced the cam sensor and ignition coil but still no spark, I tested the crank sensor and resistance is 290-ohms, there's batt power at the crank sensor connector and 5v ref. So I the cam and crank sensors are good and the coil is new, what else can cause a no spark issue? I checked for codes and got 111. I checked all fuses under the hood, all good. Someone Please Help.

Ignition cap & rotor, main fuel injection relay(grey one) on fan shraud.

There is a possibility that you installed cam sensor wrong way since it can be installed both ways...wrong and right way.
