Makes noise for a second when I turn the ignition to start but don't crank, and you can hear it while idling, high pitched whining coming from the right rear.
This noise first started after I recently changed the fuel filter last week.
First thought was that there was a bubble in the fuel system, drove over a hundred miles hoping it would fix itself. Next I assumed it was a sign of a fuel pump, I just swapped it for a new one today. Noise is slightly different but persists, used to be lower rattly whining if that makes sense.
Will post a sound/video when I figure out how to, new to forum
Any clues as to the problem?
Thanks for the help

It's the fuel pump.
Check the fuel filter direction...arrow must point towards the engine.
What is the brand of fuel pump?
Some of them are a lot louder than original.
