Very confusing, looking for brake pads, sites talk about 19" and 18" brakes.
How do I figure out the part numbers, front and back?
Looking for Akebono, they have served me well on my Honda's.
Volvo OEMs seem to wear really fast, I'd only consider if someone had a good argument for them.
How can I tell which brake pads to get?
To determine the correct brake pads for your vehicle, you'll need to gather some specific information about your car. First, you should identify the make, model, and year of your vehicle. This will help narrow down the options available for your particular car.
Next, you'll want to determine whether your vehicle has 19" or 18" brakes. This information can typically be found in your vehicle's owner's manual or by consulting with a mechanic familiar with your car.
Once you have this information, you can search for Akebono brake pads compatible with your vehicle's make, model, year, and brake size. Many online retailers and auto parts stores allow you to input your vehicle's information to find the correct parts, including brake pads.
If you're unsure about which brake pads to choose or have specific questions about compatibility, it's always a good idea to reach out to the manufacturer or consult with a knowledgeable mechanic for guidance. They can help ensure you select the right brake pads for your car's needs.

For the exact part number, you can check the number of the brake pad through vida, or tell the parts supplier vin, and they can check it.
