Replacing turbo vac line 98 t5

Post by coop »

Is there a trick or simplistic way to accessing the turbo to replace the line that goes from the turbo to the turbo control module? You can’t see where it attaches from the top of the engine. Not sure if you can get to it from under the block or you gotta take off the intercooler pipe etc.

You're going to have to remove the pipe to get good access to the CBV hose on the turbo. You want all of those turbo hoses good and tight anyway, so while you're driving along having a good time, when you hit boost, something doesn't pop off.

Figured that was the case.
I already learned about making sure everything is put back on tight when the intake tube blew off at 70mph on the highway. ;)
