I ordered a Behr heater core from them and paid a premium just to have the guarantee, but now they are no longer listed. I had noticed the price almost double a while ago, and then return to less than what I had paid for it, and now when I click "buy again" I get a 404, not even a discontinued or out of stock page.
If they're not up to their ears in snow give them a call, they likely will make an accommodation. Don't mention you know abscate, no sense in making trouble.

You'll be able to substitute any of the same item to use the warranty, so for example you can order any other brand of heater core they have. In the case that the Behr one isn't available, I'm sure you can contact them and they can make sure you get refunded for the full price of the new one since the Behr isn't available, if it turns out to be cheaper than the current offerings. That would be at their discretion though, obviously.

Nissens 9144221 should do the trick at $80

You can still get the OE from Mother, at a cool $480 too.

OOOOf.

My family members 12 pilot broke down in the US and its currently at a dealership for repairs. I believe it snapped the front axle and my family member may get a new car. I am debating getting rid of my S60 for this car as it is a bit more utilitarian for what id like to do with my cars. It does get worse fuel economy, but it has AWD, greater space, better headlights, and can tow 4500. While i do love my Volvo, I am torn as i find i dont have enough space in the car given the tools i normally keep in it. The pilot has 300k km and probably needs a timing belt soon. My s60 has 290k km on it and had its belt done at 242k km.

The pilot has been in the family for a lot longer so it has a familiarity that reminds me of my station wagon. Its a bit early to tell as we need to get the pilot fixed and see what else it needs to bring it up to snuff.

Drove the V70 in the dark and rain to the post office, making me realise how I cant see shit on low beams

Ironically the package I was retrieving contained new reflectors for my 240

Today was the first day I left the battery hooked up overnight after installing the new used alternator and it started right up in the morning. Yay!

Replacement expansion tank comes tomorrow. I might dig the ABS module out to send it off.

Five years since we , the Collective, saved Evita the 019 1999 S70

She’s been a college car, first job 45 minute commute car, and now a solid backup car to our family on Long Island

She’s at 180k miles now and today she will run me into Manhattan, I’ll put photos into Road Trip…

I was thinking.. As 850 rear suspension is separate spring and shock absorder styled.. Could you how easily throw spring away and put an air suspension there?

Since I'm on motronic 4.3 and I can't find a bluetooth OBD adapter that works with the android app, I decided I needed a flash code reader setup.

I may have gone overboard
