And I didn't know they still made slot cars. They were the coolest thing when I was a kid. Really moved.

When I was little in Denver, there was a big recreation/entertainment complex. Swimming pool, pinball, all kinds of things. There was a big room with a huge slot car track, maybe 8 lanes wide. Big bank turns, S-curves, start-finish. I had never seen anything like it. I was too little to get involved, then I think it closed.

I remember a place like that as well. It was in a strip mall. Just a big space with a couple of huge tracks. I went there with my cousin who had a tackle box full of slot cars. But all I was allowed to do was watch the " big " kids play.
