I'd be careful spraying anything down and around if you think you might remove the dash for a permanent repair, as the spray might cause issues with any glue or epoxy sticking to the plastic.

Seems like some glues fail to bond to this plastic anyway. That's all I was thinking about.
Yes, I used acetone to prep when I did my dash repairs. 3 or 4 years now and still good.

Well I was dealing with an 850, so might be a bit different. As the dash starts to fail, it wants to drop down toward your knees, so I would probably avoid shimming too much around the windshield. I could actually lift up the whole dash from down by the kick panel and see it move. So to get by till I could fix it, I shimmed it between the steering column and the dash with an inflatable bag shim. Not very pretty, but it worked. But if yours is just the face plate, then maybe a spray of glass cleaner will penetrate enough.

I want to spray into the gap between the windshield and the dashboard. But I don't really know what exactly is behind the dashboard. The mounts and something else? but are they reachable? I got an extension that can spray in any direction...
Can I reach anything important through the glove box?
I'm just only hopeful because heat reduces the noise a lot and sometimes makes it disappear completely.

Because you're just going to make a mess and not accomplish much.
This is an 850, but this is what's behind the dash.

@Chuk_W
Thats not looking nice without dash
Bought Osixo anti-squeak aerosol, some Krytox stuff.
Is also used in the automotive industry
It's worth a try before I open a big construction site
