Wow, I remember those Simca 1301's. There weren't that many in the UK, the 1100 hatchback was a much more popular option. I wouldn't say they were terrible car, but a student friend used to leave his keys in his 1100 in the hope that someone would steal it. The biggest insult he was someone stole the car beside his!! Personally, I thought they had a certain 'Gallic' charm to them.

The nose/hood has a little big of a Peugeot look.
We would see 3-wheel cars almost every day. Spotting one was a big deal, we would point and yell... kind of a treat. I have no idea what brand they were.
