Replaced front O2, immediate misfires, high trim. Diagnostic help? Topic is solved

Take the snorkel off the MAF and put a glove over it, keep. smoke away from the MAF.

So, smoke tested. Big leak in exactly the pipe suspected, all the way around the back where it's hard to feel/see. I guess I must have applied some pressure while I was in there in a way that caused it to crack. :-/

Also, leaking seals around the injectors, which is disappointing because I replaced those last time I cleaned them, but apparently the replacements left something to be desired.

Was the leak in the big snorkel pipe? Unlike bmw, the Volvo ones don’t seem to fail often

@abscate It was, there was a subtle split way back around the rear on the bottom just before the clamp. I got the sense that it was even been on there slightly crooked causing it to fail, hard to see, a certain amount of all of this was done by feel. *shrug*

New one is in place now, and the fuel trims are back in range at idle at about +6, and now I know there are smaller leaks around the injectors (still waiting on o-rings to come in for those).

Re: do I recommend it, I honestly have no basis for comparison. I've never used another, but this one seems to have done the job without too much drama or being too difficult to figure out.

The new drama is that I've noticed some oil drippage and I think it's coming from the breather box. :-/ So I'll have to take a Saturday and dismantle all of that sometime soon. I did the last PCV job on it but it's about 50k miles ago now, something must have broken loose. Always another job to do...
