Rough/ creaking ride from the rear!

2006 XC70 140Kmiles. I am now getting creaking and 'looseness' from the rear. Shocks seem to be ok. How do I determine what bushings, etc need to be replaced, OR...should I just do them ALL. Costly and beyond my tool/ DIY capabilities. A few bushings, I could do. I now avoid bumps in the road, not wanting to hear that creaking sound in the rear when I go over a simple road hump...20mph.

Get under there with a pry bar and start checking what bushings have slop. In my opinion just do them all at that mileage. With YouTube most the suspension stuff is DIY.

get a can of silcone spray and spray one bushing, test drive .
keep spraying one rubber bushing and test drive until you find the one that was creaking.

test the shocks, if they are worn out you might be hearing the spring on the mounts.

Also check for a broken rear spring.
