'99 GLT fuel injectors

So which ones should I be using ? It seems like options are blue, white, or brown ? I'm using white ones now, but I've had surging issues under load, and I have no idea if whites are even correct for this car. Searching doesn't really help, so wondering what folks here are actually using .

Strictly "book knowledge" as I've never owned a 99 (dodged that bullet!) but ...

99 V70 GLT shipped with browns (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... 70-9186340?), which are the same as reds (https://www.fcpeuro.com/blog/reds-blues ... -guide-p80) and deliver 315 cc/min. I think running blues (350 cc/min) will force fuel trim to handle the compensating and thus the engine will run occasionally rich, occasionally lean.

Pretty sure I've still got the reds that came out of my 98 many, many miles ago. They were fine when pulled if you want them. Or, browns are common in the junkyards.

300cc per minute, 1.5 liters total per minute, a gallon every 2 minutes or 30 gallons per hour.

At 60 mph, that’s 2 mpg. Do we ever drive in that mode ?

Au contraire! One could extend the calculation to determine for what fraction of each minute injectors are actually flowing (pulsing, open, etc). Looks like on the order of 1/10, or 6 seconds of every minute (seems low).

I thought the delivery number had duty cycle baked in.

Well I popped in a set of reds, and the car seems to like them. I have had an issue with surging at around 2800rpm, and that was with browns. It got worse with the whites. But doesn't seem to be occurring with the reds.
