Been a long time that I bought a paper magazine. Got it because it featured the Chrysler voyager and Renault espace, both which we had.

Spotted this clean p1800 with an Aston Martin engine as well.

I fight with an old 850 issue, if i do remember well what Abscate told me once. What kind of tungsten carbide metal drill bit could someone recommend to me to get out of this issue ? My metals drills break the ones after the others. And as the fuel system is open near, i can't heat the hub.

I dont know if you're still working on this, but have you considered removing the wheel bearing entirely so you can get away from the fuel tank and work on this at a bench?
Hy Zion,

It's a very good idea. I didn't think about it. The front wheel is already off. 4 bolts, and the trick will be done. Thanks a lot Zion.

I also cleaned the trunk (steel brush), and recovered it with a rust killer. Tomorrow, i will spray some grey paint. I will find the original color later.

Had a nice Sunday out and came back to a note.

It's someone's dream car and they want to know if mine is for sale or if I know anyone with one that's available.

Feeling very proud and pleased with myself. I'll be doing my best to get in touch via details left

Even without a bolt, if it moves you have a bigger issue, your wheel bolts are loose!! When you torque the wheel bolts correctly, it clamps the rotor between the back of the wheel rim and the hub. It will not move.

Neil,

I think the brake disk is the issue. I've made turn it by hand this morning, and it shows. I have to replace them.

If the rotor is warped, then no matter what yo udo you will get vibration. New ones are cheap enough unless they have enough width left and you can find someone who still has rotor turning equipment. I had to have this done on a brand new set of Zimmerman rear rotors many years ago!

Good luck!

Salut Neil,

As i was bleeding my brakes lines this morning, I though about to replace the 4 hubs. I don't know how old they are, but as i'm on the way to secure the mains elements of my 850, it can't be bad idea. Thanks again to follow my post.
