1998 S70 PCV overhaul

Hello everyone, I recently acquired most of the parts for the PCV system and plan to repair my S70's PCV system sometime in February.Given that buying original factory clamps seems unlikely for me, I'd like to ask what sizes of clamps are needed for replacing the PCV system? I've decided to upgrade the system with larger hoses as suggested on the forum. I'm not exactly a professional mechanic; my previous repair experience is limited to replacing the PCV hoses and deleting the EGR on my Opel Vectra. Is replacing the PCV system on this car difficult? I don't really trust my local repair shops; they've probably never seen a Volvo like this before.

On a 98 it is not terrible. It just takes time. The hardest part is you have to remove the intake manifold. When refitting it, make sure do do not get the support braked for one of the pipes trapped behind the manifold.

If you have the pipes you need for the repairs, then you can buy the screw pipe clamps based on the diameter of the pipes. Usually goot pipe clamps come with an operating range of diameters they can work to.

When removing the oil separator/PCV box from the front of the engine, make sure which pipe goes to which port. It is easy to get them mixed up.
