I have a 95 850 glt that died while driving and i cant get it running again 😫

Cranks and sounds like its going to start. It dosent seem like im getting spark

Its a manual with the jetronic ignition system wich seems more like the 94s ignition system.

I have replaced EVERYTHING...

Mass air
Crank sensor
Cam sensor
Injector relay
Ignition switch
Ignition coil is good swaped from v70
Cap/ rotor
Fuel pump

I saw some people say floor the gas and crank awhile and it should start... that sounds crazy to me but since im out of ideas at this point i tried it and it started to sound like it could start but now i have to charge the battery up again.

Any ideas πŸ’‘ πŸ€”

Thanks

Fuel pump relay ? Do you have good fuel pressure at the fuel rail ?

Yes there is fuel pressure on the rail, and i have tested the fuel pump relay in my v70 and it works fine.

Havent changed spark pluggs but i would think it would still run (just badly) with old plugs.

I haven't pulled any pluggs and checked but i got the car with 115 thousand and it looked like the had just done wires and pluggs. Ill pull and check condition

Also i have swaped ECUs....

And it has a new battery and alternator......

Given how much you changed I'd start looking at breaks in the wiring and/or bad electrical connections

Charge battery
Remove spark plugs
Remove fuel pump relay
Crank engine to get all the remaining fuel out
Now you can test compression if you have tester vs rent one from local parts store
Put 20cc of oil into each cylinder and turn the engine couple times to spread the oil around cylinder walls(you likely washed all oil film by now)
Install fuel pressure gauge and test the pressure in the rail. You fuel pump relay is out anyway, so get 2 male terminal and make "bridge" between 30 and 87. Note the pressure. Turn off the "bridge" note the residual pressure.
Now you will know either you have proper pressure and compression or not. (You need data)
Remove center wire from distributor(the one from coil) and put close to the ground.
Ask someone to start the engine(I am not sure if fuel pump relay is necessary to be in for spark in this system, but doubt. You can just remove connectors injectors(prevent cylinder washing)put the relay back in place)and watch if you have spark. (You need to know what is missing 100% and this way you will avoid parts cannon).
If the spark is indeed missing and your ignition coil(if i remember correctly coil usually goes together with ignition module) works perfectly on the other "test" car, then you likely have problem with wiring.
From this moment I would get DIY access to alldata ($30 per month) find redrawn electric diagram of ignition system.
With a good test light check what is missing at the ignition module(power, ground, signal) and work your way from there.
P.s also substitute the known good central wire from your v70 to this car and recheck the spark

You said it doesn't "seem" like it's getting spark. Is it getting spark or not? In 2026, it's a one-person job to check. You can leave your cell phone under the hood recording video while you go in the car and turn the key.

Good chance It was first something like no fuel (solved by the parts cannon) and then lawn mower syndrome in the end.
