Some background:
I replaced the cvvt last fall. During this procedure the battery needed a charge and put a battery charger on it under the hood and immediately the charger spiked, I quickly disconnected the charger under the hood and charged the battery itself in the rear with battery cables to vehicle disconnected. Battery took the charge and all seemed normal until I started losing functions over time such as remote use, interior lights, ability to shift out of park, blower motor etc, I recently got back to the car and was able to start it(never lost this function) and was able to shift out of park manually under the shifter panel and have been driving it locally. Couple days ago I got in for a short drive and the shifter worked as normal. The various functions have all been returning...the remote only partially so far. I had been thinking CEM problem but now I don't have a clue. Relearn process.... doubt it but I have no more ideas. Anyone here have any? Vehicle has 154k on it.

Hi, Yes it is and the CEM has been my thought for a while but since almost everything has been functioning again I was rethinking....until earlier today when I lost the interior lights again. So back to considering the CEM again. I realize the water ingress can be a problem on these. Thank you for the reply!
