My 94 850 will start, I have that "it's cold and I dont want to shift out of 1st disease" which of course goes away after a minute.

The actual problem is that I am not getting full torque/hp, then I stall at the next stop sign. I go back to the car a few hours later, and she starts and runs fine (this happens in cold conditions).

Sounds like you have more than one problem.

Transmission not wanting to shif out of first could be worn tranny fluid or a PNP switch starting to fail.

The stall and lower power sounds like a vacume leak, a dirty thottle body or a fuel filter that is clogged.

I figured it may have to do the PNP or O2 sensor. She is in the shop as I type, thank goodness I have a beater of a Toyota to tide me over. I will change the filter myself. Thanks for the tip!!!!!!!!!!!!

When she gets out of the shop I will tell all the results...........

This site is a great place........
