Hello friends. Could you please tell me, Volvo 740 ( 2.3, 1988 MY ) have same front brake calipers,like installed on Volvo 960 ( 3.0, 1992 MY ) ?

There are two makes of caliper fitted to both the 740 and the 960, DBA and Girling. For both makes there are different calipers for cars without ABS and for those with ABS.

The DBA calipers without ABS will fit both the 740 and the 960.The DBA calipers with ABS will not fit both.

The Girling calipers without ABS and with ABS are not interchangeable between the two cars.
