'99 V70 OBDII error codes

Post by vooman82 »

I hooked up an INNOVA 3100 OBDII code reader and got several generic error codes.

P0300
P0135 - O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0136 - O2 sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1 Sensor 2)

There are two sensors on the car, is there a way to diagnose which is throwing the error.

P0300 is probably causing the other two codes as it indicates a misfire on at least one cylinder. This in turn will cause an emissions problem which will be picked up by one or both heated oxygen sensors and cause the other two codes.

Find out where the misfire is, fix it and erase all codes and see what happens.
