V50 Thule roof rack fit kit?

just picked up the V50. Love it so far. However, I am running into a wall in finding the Thule fit kit for the 400XTAeroFoot I already have from the last car.

I am under the impression that the S40 body is the same as the V50, is this true? Would the S40 2154 fit kit work on the V50?

I truly hope I don't have to go out and have a factory rack installed...

Thule says they cannot manufacture a system that is technically sound for the V50, so the Volvo load bars are the only way to go (or factory rack)

Will the Thule boxes fit ok on these bars?

Not sure if the box will look good or not...I know they'll work but how often do you have them on your car anyway? We were stuck in N.C. one Christmas and got so many gifts we couldn't get them home. I couldn't find Volvo crossbars so I had to buy Yakima. They look fine though not as sleek as Volvo or Thule and the Sears box we bought to go on these bars worked great. We might use this setup once a year so whatever eye sore we have at that time, we live with.
