Front Turn Signal Socket

Post by detour »

Hi all...new here!

I have an '02 S60 with approx. 60K. My right front turn signal was out so I changed it. Afterwards, it was still out. Throughout, the parking light "always on" has worked. It appears that the piece that the bulb is inserted into is bad. The two "prongs" are really scuffed up and not in the proper spots. I tried to yank them into place, but I think it's a lost cause.

Anyone know where I could possible find that replacement part online? It seems like it'd be cheap, but who knows?

The socket (comes with bulb) is Volvo part 8662985. Expect to pay $10-15 at the dealer. It's got an AMP connector on it, so, you'll be able to swap the socket without splicing any wires on your S60.
