1999 OBD2 Codes P0172,175 and 1633 what to replace?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

1999 OBD2 Codes P0172,175 and 1633 what to replace?

Post by twilightcall »

It is a 1999 S80. I pulled the codes and 3 came up. P0172 which is Bank 1 system too rich and P0175 Bank 2 too Rich. Then P1633 which my scanner said Auxiliary something out of range.... That isn't exactly what it said but close. Does anyone know what this means and how to replace this? Thanks.

If it was an 850 giving those I'd say look at your mass airflow sensor, or for vacuum lines that have come loose from their fittings.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!
