Engine shakes during highway acceleration.

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Engine shakes during highway acceleration.

My 1999 S80 has started to shake when I accelerate on the highway. The shake is coming from the engine. The spark plugs were changed about 3K miles ago. Does anyone have any ideas on what may be causing this to happen?

Probably your engine mounts...check them, especially that round one over the engine.

cv joints can make a serious vibration on acceleration also, check for torn boots
